School Start Date: Remains Tuesday 7 February 2023

On Monday this week, the Secretary for Education decided to direct schools and other education providers in Auckland to close for on-site instruction because of the weather emergency and the need to reduce traffic on roads.

**The Board has decided to remain with the start date of Tuesday 7 February (the day after Waitangi day).
